The Brief
We were tasked with modernising and reorganising the hotel’s Fitness Suite to serve the increasingly health conscious guests that were staying at the hotel.
A careful assessment of the demographic that were using the facilities enabled the design to team to put together a plan and fitness equipment list that would not only cater to the needs of the users, but would also create a sense of space in a relatively small area.
The requirement resulted in a greater emphasis on functional and free weight equipment that allowed guests to move freely and find adequate room to train in.
The zoning of areas gave more order to the room and allowed users to feel like they had adequate space to train in.

Home Gym, South Kensington, London
This home gym project was part of comprehensive refurbishment of a house that had two adults and 3 children. Although the space measured only 5m x 3m, we were able to devise a concept that appealed to all members of the household and gave a broad range of exercise options.
2D and 3D imaging was used to enable the clients to see how the gym would look once all equipment had been installed.
The gym, situated in the basement of the house, still had a bright aspect due to large french windows.

The Brief
David and Jo Smith, were keen to install a gym in their new home, so they approached us to design and fit out a gym in their extended basement area. As personal training clients of Morpheus, we had a good idea of their requirements so were able to offer them a solution that matched their exercise preferences, but would also enable them to work out comfortably together in a relatively small area.
